Medical Student, Class of 2024, University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine
I graduated with a degree in Mathematics at ASU in 2013, pursuing teaching before deciding to go back to school for my MD. At that time I began working with Dr. Bean and this group, which not only taught me a great deal about metabolomics but spurred many research interests I have today. I am currently attending the University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine. My interests range from mathematics, data science, computer programming, machine learning, medical research (focused on sepsis), -omics research, teaching and clinical medicine. I want to integrate these broad interests in my career by being an academic internal medicine physician active in research, education and clinical duties.
