Nicole Dorn

I received a B.S. in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry in 2023 from Truman State University in Missouri. During my studies at TSU, I conducted research in the lab of Dr. Joyce Patrick studying the effects of pesticide application on biofilm formation in the Gram positive bacterium Bacillus subtilis. I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to join Dr. Heather Bean’s lab and Dr. Rosa Krajmalnik-Brown’s lab as I begin the Microbiology PhD program at Arizona State University.
